The trial line
New workspaces start on the Trial Plan with a Trial Sandbox Line — a shared, platform-managed number for trying things out. It is enough to hear your bot on a real call, but for business use you should add your own number.Add your own number
You need an account with a telephony provider (Plivo or Vobiz) and the credentials they
gave you.
1
Open Settings → Phone Numbers & Telephony
Click Add Phone Number.
2
Fill in the line details
- Phone Number (E.164) — the full international format, e.g.
+919845012345 - Line Label — a name you will recognise, e.g. “Clinic reception”
- Telephony Carrier Provider — Plivo or Vobiz
- Carrier Auth ID and Carrier Auth Token — from your provider account
3
Choose who answers
Pick the bot under Assigned AI Agent for Incoming Calls. Anyone dialling this
number will talk to that bot.
4
Set a default (optional)
Tick Set as default workspace outbound phone line to make this the number your
campaigns and lead calls dial from.
Changing a number later
Each saved line shows its label, provider, assigned bot, and whether it is the default. You can rename it, point it at a different bot, make it the default, or remove it.Where to get a number
Buy one from Plivo or Vobiz, then copy the credentials into the
form above. If your provider asks where calls should be sent, your Trikon contact can
supply the address.
Choosing which bot answers
A number can only answer with one bot at a time. If you want different bots for sales and
support, add a number for each.
