When Retry Contacts is available
The Retry Contacts button sits on the campaign detail screen, next to Refresh. It appears only when the campaign status is completed. Pausing does not show retry — finish the list (or let it run through) first. There is no waiting period after the last call. The button is not shown when:- The campaign is still a draft, running, or paused.
- Every contact already completed a two-way call, because there is nobody left to retry.
- The workspace is on a trial plan — outbound campaigns, including retries, need Pro.
- Call credits are exhausted — top up before retrying.
Create a retry campaign
1
Open the original campaign
Go to Campaigns, open the campaign that already finished dialling (completed). Click Retry Contacts.
2
Name it and pick the bot
The new campaign is named
{original campaign name} - retry by default. You can change the name. Under AI Voice Agent, keep the same bot or assign a different outbound bot for the follow-up.3
Choose who to retry
Filter by outcome, then tick or untick people by hand, or search by name or phone. The count at the bottom shows how many contacts will be copied into the new campaign.
4
Create the draft, then start
Click Create Retry Campaign. The new campaign is saved as a Draft. Open it from the campaigns list and click Start Campaign when you are ready to dial. It uses the same outbound number as the original campaign.
A retry campaign can hold up to 200 contacts, the same limit as any other campaign.
Who you can retry
The dialog starts with No Answer and Busy selected. Turn filters on or off to add or remove matching people. You can mix filters.
People who already had a completed two-way call are left out. Contacts whose numbers were rejected as invalid (for example, not a real number or unallocated) are also excluded, so you do not spend credits retrying them.
Each selected contact keeps their name, phone number, and the extra CSV fields from the original campaign, so placeholders like
{{name}} and {{amount_due}} still work. See Dynamic Variables.
