Languages

Indian languages and accents: English (Indian accent), Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese, Urdu, Sanskrit. International: English (US/global), Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Korean, Russian, Dutch, Turkish.

One language or several?

  • One language — the bot is locked to it. It greets in that language, uses the correct script, and will not drift into another language even if the caller does.
  • Several languages — the bot listens to the caller’s first sentence, replies in that language, and switches again if the caller switches mid-call. With mixed speech such as Hinglish it follows whichever language dominates.
Multilingual bots are wonderfully flexible but slightly less predictable. If your callers all speak one language, pick that one language.

Good to know

  • Your bot never reads out symbols like * or bullet points — everything is written to be spoken.
  • Replies are kept to one or two sentences and one question at a time, so the call feels like a conversation rather than a lecture.
  • Callers can interrupt. The moment somebody starts speaking, the bot stops and listens.
